Acústica Integral develops an extensive range of acoustic doors adapted to all the market requirements for all the areas of application.
Outstanding among all the models designed, manufactured and installed, is the RS10 model. This type of door stands out for providing an exceptional acoustic performance, reaching Rw insulation values of 54dB in the test chamber. In order to value the importance of this data, we must take into consideration that acoustic doors are elements which enable the access to the premises where they are installed and, therefore, are the only acoustic obstacle between the noise-emitting area and the receiver. We must take into account, therefore, that the acoustic insulation of the door will mainly depend on its mass, and on the door's sealing, achieved by the high performance of its joints between the leaf and the frame.
The RS10 model has a parametrical frame made up by two pressure areas through a strip, which confers it an optimum level of sealing to be able to reach the previously described values of acoustic insulation to aerial noise.
To be able to achieve this degree of sealing, the door is provided with a pressure lock with indoor handles, which enables a progressive pressure of the leaf on the frame, ensuring an appropriate closing throughout the perimeter of the door.
The application of these type of doors is centred on high acoustic performance installations, recording studios, rehearsal rooms, live performance rooms, TV sets with live shows, cinema recording studios, Dolby rooms, dubbing studios, and any other type of premises where the attenuation of the acoustic doors is an essential parameter to achieve an acoustic insulations above the average.
The RS10 doors are considered by the audiovisual sector as the "studio doors". Thanks to the extensive research carried out by Acústica Integral throughout all the years it has been manufacturing the model, a reference standard has been achieved in the sector of audiovisual means, enabling our customers to achieve the acoustic objectives with a high-quality product, the best performances and a low price.
In addition to the RS10 model, which is a door with a lower frame, Acústica Integral has developed two models inspired in the latter that do not have a lower frame. The market's needs make it necessary to provide doors without a lower frame that facilitate the access to people with mobility difficulties. It is for these that we have developed the models RS9 and RS8.
These models without lower frame cover a set of market needs, aimed at complying with the regulations, as in many installations, doors without lower frame are necessary. The RS9 model provides a pressure closing, it does not have lower frame and has an inertia hinge, which enables raising the leaf when opened and pressing it against the floor when closing it so to guarantee the sealing of the door in the lower frame area. The door's degree of insulation, without lower frame is of 48dB, and if it is added the lower frame of 16 mm, we can achieve 52dB.
The RS8 model provides a slam latch, it does not have a lower frame and has an inertia hinge, which enables raising the leaf when opened and pressing it against the floor when closing it so to guarantee the sealing of the door in the lower frame area. The door's degree of insulation, without lower frame is of 43dB, and if it is added the lower frame of 16mm, we can achieve 49dB.
The applications and uses of these models are aimed at the same type of applications as model RS10, but we must take into consideration that the acoustic insulation is aimed at specific applications.
It is important to highlight that to achieve higher insulation ranges on door models without lower frame, we can assemble them through an acoustic hall, made up of a double door. This will allow increasing the acoustic insulation and continue to maintain the lower part of the door free of obstacles.
